Rubio On Senate Floor: “There Isn’t A Single Thing In This Bill That Helps Working People”

In a speech on the Senate floor, U.S. Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL) called the Democrats’ $749 billion climate and tax bill a great deal for Chinese manufacturers and electric car owners but said it will do nothing to help working Americans struggling from inflation, crime, and the border crisis.

Looking forward … Rubio will offer multiple amendments to the bill, including on permitting reform, Chinese components in electric vehicles, police funding, protecting pregnant students, and increasing the child tax credit for working families.
