Few Americans give as much to this country and expect as little in return as our law enforcement officers.
You put your life on the line to protect us from crime, violence, and dangerous situations, and it isn’t easy even in the best of times.
It certainly isn’t easy today, when police officers are mocked, disparaged, and discredited by woke activists — and when the risk of being in law enforcement is as high as it’s ever been.
Last year, 616 American police officers lost their lives. 55 of them were Floridians. Tragically, that’s over three times as many deaths as we had in 2020.
My heart and our prayers go out to these brave men and women and their families. And I want to offer my sincere gratitude — to our fallen heroes, and to those who continue to serve.
Your sacrifices do not go unnoticed.
