TOMORROW: Rubio Visits Expanding Jacksonville Business to Discuss Impacts of Tax Reform
Miami, FL— Tomorrow, at approximately 10:30 AM EDT, U.S. Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL) will join Jacksonville Mayor Lenny Curry, Congressman John Rutherford (R-FL) and State Senator Aaron Bean (R-FL) to meet with Magellan Transport Logistics to tour its facility and discuss how the new tax law has helped expand the company.
Following the passage of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act, Magellan Transport Logistics announced plans to significantly expand its Florida operations through the acquisition of a 47,000 square foot facility to create a new logistics control tower. The company also plans to hire an additional 100 logistics employees over the next five years as it continues to execute on its aggressive growth plans.
