Oct 31, 2017 | Press Releases

Washington, D.C. – Today at approximately 5:10 p.m. EDT, U.S. Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL), will speak on the Senate floor to push for an expanded child tax credit.

Last week, Rubio joined Special Advisor to the President, Ivanka Trump, Senators Tim Scott (R-SC) and Mike Lee (R-UT), and several members of the Senate and House to discuss expanding the credit. Rubio appeared on Fox News’ America’s Newsroom and CNBC’s Squawk Box to discuss the need to provide tax relief to working American families by expanding the child tax credit. Recently, the Senate unanimously voted to include the Rubio-Lee child tax credit amendment in its budget resolution.

Rubio’s remarks on the Senate floor will be broadcast on C-SPAN 2 and the U.S. Senate’s official website.
