The extension will enable our state to continue providing care to Medicaid recipients through a managed care program, and the annual $1.5 billion LIP allotment will provide federal resources to Florida hospitals to ensure the most vulnerable patients have access to quality health care. I look forward to continuing to work with state and federal officials to guarantee Florida’s health care needs are met.”
