Rubio Statement on Expulsion of 60 Russian Intelligence Officers

Mar 26, 2018 | Press Releases

Pensacola, FL-  U.S. Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL) issued the following statement after President Trump expelled Russian intelligence officers from the United States after Russia used a military-grade nerve agent in an attempt to assassinate a British citizen and his daughter in the United Kingdom:

“By expelling 60 Russian intelligence officers and closing the Russian consulate in Seattle, the United States joins our European allies in making clear that we will not tolerate the Putin government’s brazen and reckless chemical attack in Britain. Vladimir Putin should know harsher consequences await if his aggression and foreign interference against the free world continues.”
