“Later today, the Senate is expected to pass a bill to end the government shutdown that the House intends to pass and the President will sign,” Rubio said. “Everyone has committed to ensuring impacted federal workers receive their back pay quickly. With the government open, I hope that Speaker Pelosi will honor her word and negotiate in good faith with the President on a deal to secure our border and fully fund the federal government through the rest of this fiscal year.
