Rubio, Roy Release Report, Slam Woke Leaders for Weakening America’s Military
The United States military is the greatest fighting force in the world. Unfortunately, President Joe Biden, and his administration, are weakening America’s warfighters through a sustained assault that is fueled by woke virtue signaling.
A new report, produced by the offices of U.S. Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL) and U.S. Representative Chip Roy (R-TX), details how leaders within the Pentagon are pushing critical race theory, sex reassignment procedures, and identity politics instead of focusing on bolstering our military and tackling the threats facing our nation.
- “Rather than making the case for American greatness and protecting our nation, the military is parroting woke nonsense. It’s dumb, it doesn’t work, and it’s dangerous. We need to spend more time thinking about how to counter Chinese aircraft carriers and less time thinking about pronouns.” — Senator Rubio
- “The Department of Defense’s priority should be training the men and women of our Armed Forces to be a united, lethal, and battle-ready force primed to defend the United States and her interests at a moment’s notice. Instead, Biden’s woke Pentagon is using taxpayer dollars to promote blatant anti-American ideology. It has to stop. We need to end this politicization of our military and keep our Armed Forces focused on defending our national security.” — Representative Roy
Flashback … In August, Rubio released a video slamming the U.S. military’s woke military recruitment strategy.
Looking forward … Rubio and Roy will push for the Restoring Military Focus Act to become law. The bill, which Roy first introduced in July 2021, would eliminate the military’s newly installed and completely unnecessary Chief Diversity Officer, who is responsible for implementing woke diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives within the U.S. Department of Defense.
