Rubio: Obama Administration Must Veto Anti-Israel U.N. Resolution

Dec 23, 2016 | Press Releases

Miami, FL – U.S. Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL), a member of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, released the following statement today regarding the U.N. Security Council’s upcoming vote on an anti-Israel resolution:

“Once again, opponents of the Jewish state are pushing yet another anti-Israel initiative that will further set back prospects for Israeli-Palestinian peace. Reports that the Obama Administration may have colluded with the resolution’s sponsors to push for a vote are alarming and, if true, shameful. The Obama Administration must follow long-standing U.S. policy and veto this harmful resolution.”
