Rubio, Nelson Applaud Trump Nomination for Florida Court

U.S. Senators Marco Rubio (R-FL) and Bill Nelson (D-FL) today released the following statement after president Trump nominated William Jung to serve as a federal district court judge for the Middle District of Florida:

“We are pleased that the president is nominating William Jung to fill one of the vacancies in the Middle District of Florida. Last Congress, Mr. Jung was recommended to us by our joint Florida Federal Judicial Nominating Commission, and we both supported his nomination. Earlier this year, we asked President Trump to again nominate Mr. Jung to serve as a federal district court judge for the Middle District of Florida. We are confident that Mr. Jung will serve honorably and encourage the Senate to move quickly on his re-nomination.”
