Rubio Confronts Repressive Venezuelan Regime On Twitter
Washington, D.C. – U.S. Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL), a member of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, today confronted the ongoing wave of repression by the Venezuelan government through a series of tweets. In addition to yesterday’s statement, Rubio used Twitter to condemn Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro and his regime, in English and Spanish, highlighting the government’s cruelty and violence against innocent Venezuelans, particularly its young people.
