Rubio Comments On Bastille Day Attack In France

Washington, D.C. U.S. Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL), a member of the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence and Senate Foreign Relations Committee, issued the following statement regarding today’s Bastille Day attack in Nice, France: 
 
“It appears terrorism has again struck the heart of Europe.  My thoughts and prayers are with the people of Nice, France and all families who lost loved ones in this tragedy.  As we wait for more information on this horrific attack, we stand with our close ally in their time of need after this apparent attack against the French people on their national day of unity.  I am confident that the French people will come through this stronger in the face of those who seek to do us harm.  Civilized and freedom loving nations cannot allow this to become the new normal.”
