PHOTO RELEASE: Rubio Begins Official Visit to South Korea
Washington, D.C. – U.S. Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL), the ranking member of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee’s East Asian and Pacific Affairs Subcommittee and a member of the Select Committee on Intelligence, today began his official visit to South Korea. This is Rubio’s final stop on his week-long trip to Asia.
While in South Korea today, Rubio met with U.S. troops and senior government officials. Rubio also visited the Korean De-militarized Zone (DMZ), a strip of land separating South Korea and the threatening North Korea, where he was briefed on security issues.
