Washington, D.C. – At approximately 4:15 p.m. today, U.S. Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL) will deliver remarks on the Senate floor as Senate Democrats are poised to vote against cloture on the motion for the Senate to begin consideration of the Strengthening America’s Security in the Middle East Act of 2019 (S.1), his bill to strengthen U.S. security in Middle East, bolster the U.S. alliance with Israel, and sanction Syria’s dictatorship.
