MEDIA ADVISORY: Rubio To Question USAID Official During Senate Foreign Relations Committee Hearing

Washington, D.C. – Tomorrow, April 10, U.S. Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL), a member of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, will hear testimony from Rajiv Shah, the Administrator of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), at the Committee hearing entitled, International Development Priorities in the FY 2015 Budget.

Rubio is expected to highlight the importance of Internet freedom in Cuba, in light of reports this week about USAID’s role in ZunZuneo, a social media network for the Cuban people.
