Marco’s Business Roundtable in Jacksonville

Jan 10, 2012 | Blog

Yesterday, Marco joined the JAX Chamber to hear firsthand from job creators in the area about the challenges and opportunities facing their businesses and to get input on job creation initiatives he’s working on in Washington, including the bipartisan AGREE Act.

From a WOKV report of the event: “[Senator] Rubio implored the audience to continue getting feedback from other small business owners in the city to relay to Congress, because he says there is a big disconnect between what lawmakers think creates jobs and what actually does.”

Marco also took the opportunity to reminded the group what he knows would help grow the economy: “You don’t need more taxes, you need more taxpayers. You need more employers, you need more people that are working and making money.”

Below are a few photos from the event.
