Rubio, Colleagues Call on Biden to Enforce Existing Law, Revoke Visas of Hamas Sympathizers

Oct 18, 2023 | Featured, Press Releases

Current U.S. law prohibits supporters of terrorism or terrorist groups from entering the country. Yet, across America, foreign nationals have supported Hamas’s declaration of an international “day of rage” and the terrorist acts committed against Israel.

U.S. Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL) will seek to pass a resolution by unanimous consent calling on President Joe Biden to enforce existing law and revoke the visas of foreign nationals who endorse or espouse activity in support of Hamas or other Foreign Terrorist Organizations (FTO).

  • “It is a blessing to live in America and any individual that is promoting Hamas should have that privilege revoked. Republicans are united in calling on President Biden to enforce current law and revoke the visas of any foreign national who support Hamas or any other Foreign Terrorist Organization.” – Senator Rubio

Joining Senator Rubio in his efforts were Senators Marsha Blackburn (R-TN), Katie Boyd Britt (R-AL), Rick Scott (R-FL), Kevin Cramer (R-ND), J.D. Vance (R-OH), Ted Budd (R-NC), Pete Ricketts (R-NE), Tommy Tuberville (R-AL), Ron Johnson (R-WI), John Cornyn (R-TX), and John Hoeven (R-ND).

U.S. Representative Tony Gonzales (R-TX) is introducing a companion resolution in the House.

Flashback … On October 15, Senator Rubio sent a letter to U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken demanding him to review and revoke the visas of those who have endorsed or embraced Hamas’s terrorist activity.
