Advisory: Senate Republicans to Hold Press Conference on Unemployment Benefits

Washington, D.C. — U.S. Senators Marco Rubio (R-FL), Roger Marshall (R-KS), Steve Daines (R-MT), Joni Ernst (R-IA), Marsha Blackburn (R-TN), and Tommy Tuberville (R-AL) will hold a press conference to discuss current unemployment benefits and the effects they are having on national unemployment.  

Rubio created the historic Paycheck Protection Program, the largest federal fiscal policy program enacted in recent history. PPP was the single most effective relief program passed by Congress and kept tens of millions of employees on payroll during the COVID-19 pandemic.
