WEDNESDAY: Rubio Chairs China Commission Hearing on Communist Party’s Crackdown on Religion in China
Washington, D.C. – U.S. Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL) and U.S. Representative Chris Smith (R-NJ), chair and cochair of the bipartisan Congressional-Executive Commission on China (CECC), will convene a hearing entitled “The Communist Party’s Crackdown on Religion in China” this Wednesday at 3:00pm ET.
The hearing will look at conditions faced by religious believers in China, explore State Department religious freedom efforts, and seek recommendations for Congressional action.
The hearing will be livestreamed via the “Live Hearings” link on the CECC’s webpage and YouTube channel.
