Sep 30, 2011 | Press Releases

Washington, D.C. – Through Marco’s Constituent Mail Box video series, Rubio regularly responds to a selection of constituent letters on various topics. Each week, U.S. Senator Marco Rubio receives thousands of letters, emails and phone calls from Floridians voicing their opinions.

In this week’s installment, Rubio responds to several constituents regarding tax increase proposals, the Trafficking Victims Protection Reauthorization Act of 2011 and disaster relief aid.

The first letter came from Preston in Jacksonville who wrote in support of raising marginal tax rates for some Americans. The second letter was from Melissa in Tampa who wrote about the importance of extending the Trafficking Victims Protection Act, which is set to expire at the end of this month. Finally, the third letter was from Donald and Ruth from Green Cove Springs who emphasized the importance of Congress passing a clean disaster relief bill.
