Rubio To Discuss Higher Education Reform In Pinellas County On Monday
Washington, D.C. – Tomorrow, August 1, U.S. Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL) will visit AMSkills, a trade apprenticeship program for high school students in Clearwater, to highlight the importance of higher education reform.
Throughout this Senate term, Rubio has advocated for alternatives to four year colleges, including apprenticeship programs like the one he will visit on Monday. Rubio began his Senate term in 2011 with over $100,000 in student loan debt – which also led him to champion less costly alternatives to higher learning and new alternatives to student loan programs.
