“I am very happy for Josh Holt, his wife and their family. He was an innocent hostage being held by the Maduro regime. As the administration made clear this evening, their release will in no way change U.S. policy towards the dictatorship in Venezuela. Until Maduro allows free and fair elections, he will continue facing punishing sanctions.”
