Rubio Statement on DOD Niger Ambush Report
Washington, D.C. – U.S. Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL) released the following statement today after the Department of Defense (DOD) released a report on the Niger ambush on American and Nigerian soldiers in October 2017 that resulted in the death of four American members of a U.S. Special Operations Forces (USSOF) team, including Sgt. Johnson of Miami Gardens, FL:

To the extent that there were command failures, I urge the DOD to consider disciplinary action.”
