Mar 16, 2018 | Press Releases

Miami, FL – U.S. Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL) issued the following statement today after two Floridian Airmen in Iraq and two Floridian Naval Aviators in a training flight crash near Naval Air Station, Key West, lost their lives this week:

“Jeanette and I extend our condolences to the family, friends and fellow service members of Naval Aviators Lt. Cmdr. James Brice Johnson and Lt. Caleb Nathaniel King, and the two Floridian Air Force Pararescuemen who passed away in Iraq this week. These tragedies bring into focus the sacrifices made by our military personnel, and it reminds us that not a single day in uniform is a routine one. Whether it is at home or abroad, we are always grateful for the service of our military’s men and women, and the role Florida plays in our national defense.”
