Rubio, R. Scott, and Republican Colleagues Introduce Resolution to Support Parents’ Ability to Remain Involved in Their Childrens’ Education

Washington, D.C.  U.S. Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL) joined Senator Rick Scott (R-FL), Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY), and 29 other Republican senators in introducing a resolution supporting parents’ rights to be fully and actively involved in the education of their children. 
 
Recently, the Biden Administration has politicized and weaponized the U.S. Department of Justice by threatening to use federal law enforcement resources to intimidate and silence parents who speak out to protect their children from harmful curricula like critical race theory. President Biden’s dangerous tactics are a clear violation of parents’ rights to free speech and the right to have a say in the education of their children.
