Rubio Mourns Loss of FBI Agents

Washington, D.C. — U.S. Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL) released the following statement after two FBI agents were fatally shot and three more were wounded in Sunrise, Florida while attempting to execute a federal search warrant in a child exploitation case.
 
“Jeanette and I are deeply saddened by the loss of two brave FBI agents,” Rubio said. “Our prayers are with their families and the three agents who were injured in the cowardly attack. It serves as yet another reminder that the courageous members of our law enforcement community put their lives on the line every day to make our communities safer from the type of sick, depraved people who would exploit and prey on our children.”
