Lima, Peru – During the Summit of the Americas today, U.S. Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL) met with members of the Cuban Civil Society as well as Venezuelan opposition leaders to discuss the restoration of democracy and human rights in Cuba and Venezuela. He was also briefed today on combatting drug dealers and other malign actors who are using Latin American gold to launder their dirty money.
