Rubio Comments On Attack In Jerusalem Synagogue

Nov 18, 2014 | Press Releases

Washington, D.C. – U.S. Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL) today issued the following statement regarding the recent attack in a Jerusalem synagogue that resulted in the deaths of three Americans:

“I was outraged this morning to learn of the savage murder of three Americans and a British citizen worshipping in a Jerusalem synagogue. My thoughts and prayers are with the families of the victims, the Israeli people, and Jewish people everywhere who have seen a solemn place of worship marred by a brutal and senseless attack.

“While we continue to gather information about the attack, we must commit to doing everything necessary to assist Israel in bringing these brutal killers to justice, as well as those who trained, financed and provided other forms of support in the attack.

“This terrorist act serves as a devastating reminder of the fact that Israel is surrounded by cold-blooded enemies who won’t even allow innocent worshippers to practice their faith in peace. Today and always, America needs to stand with Israel.”
