Washington, D.C. - U.S. Senators Marco Rubio (R-FL), Chris Coons (D-DE), Roger Wicker (R-MS), Richard Durbin (D-IL), Ron Johnson (R-WI), and Cory Gardner (R-CO) introduced a resolution calling for accountability and justice for the assassination of the late Russian opposition leader Boris Nemtsov in 2015. February 27, 2019, marks four years since Nemtsov’s murder in Moscow.
Representatives Eliot Engel (D- NY) and Michael McCaul (R-TX), Chairman and Ranking Member of the House Committee on Foreign Affairs respectively, will introduce the companion resolution in the House.
