Boca Raton, FL – U.S. Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL) today visited with students in Florida Atlantic University’s (FAU) high school program and met with the university’s administration to discuss its priorities related to classified research, aquaculture, and energy.
“I am glad I was able to witness firsthand the wonderful work these bright students are doing at Florida Atlantic University High School. This institution provides its students with a tremendous opportunity as they can graduate with a high school diploma and a bachelor’s degree, enabling many to go directly to graduate school.
“I remain committed to continuing to push for policies and initiatives that expand educational opportunities. It is imperative that our students, the next generation of America, are adequately prepared for a 21st century economy.”
