Washington, D.C. – U.S. Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL) today visited the Eureka Garden federal housing complex in Jacksonville, Florida, which has been plagued for months by mismanagement leading to dangerous and inhumane living conditions. Rubio: “What you guys have done is horrifying and inexcusable. I’m gonna come in, and I hope you’ll tell your principal that we look forward to bringing all the full bare of every agency I can to look at the way he does business.”
GMF Representative: “Look at all the restorations that are underway.”
Rubio: “You mean the ones you did before I came? You guys are disgusting. That’s the only word I can use.”
Rubio: “This is all a show. None of these crews were out here doing any of this up until 48 hours ago when they found out we were coming.”
