Washington, D.C. — U.S. Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL) released the following statement after the Senate confirmed Wendy Williams Berger to serve as a federal district court judge for the Middle District of Florida:
“Florida’s federal courts play an important role in our nation’s judicial system and the Sunshine State continues to benefit from the Senate’s record pace of confirming nominees. I applaud my colleagues for confirming Judge Berger – the eighth Florida nominee to be confirmed since 2018,” Rubio said. “Judge Berger has nearly 30 years of courtroom experience in Florida, and I am confident that experience will serve her well in her new role as a federal district court judge for the Middle District of Florida.”
