Florida Sen. Marco Rubio… has added his voice to Gov. Rick Scott’s in calling on President Barack Obama to declare a state of emergency in Escambia and Santa Rosa Counties after back-to-back tornadoes in recent weeks.
If the president does declare a state of emergency, it will open up several forms of federal aid for those affected by the storms. The governor issued a state-level emergency declaration last week after touring damage in the Panhandle.
