PHOTO RELEASE: Rubio Concludes Official Visit To The Philippines

Washington, D.C. – U.S. Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL), the ranking member of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee’s East Asian and Pacific Affairs Subcommittee and a member of the Select Committee on Intelligence, today concluded his official visit to the Philippines. As part of a week-long trip to Asia, Rubio will make his final stop in South Korea.

After Rubio visited Tacloban to tour ongoing recovery efforts after Typhoon Haiyan, Rubio returned to Manila today. While in Manila, he met with government officials in the region, including President Benigno Aquino III, Secretary of Foreign Affairs Albert del Rosario and Congressman Manny Pacquiao, to discuss economic and security issues.
