Each May our nation celebrates Military Appreciation Month. It is a special time for us honor the men and women who have served our country. My wife Jeanette and I would like to thank all of our nation’s service members and veterans for their great dedication and sacrifice.
My recent visits to some of Florida’s military bases gave me the opportunity to see firsthand the outstanding work of our military men and women. Each time I speak to a service member, I am reminded of the selflessness with which they serve and protect our freedoms. As Floridians, many of us personally know some of the tens of thousands from our state who serve at home and around the world.
To members of the military, past and present, and their families who also sacrifice every day, we give our sincere thanks.
