Miami, FL — On Friday, April 24, 2020 at 10:00 AM EDT, U.S. Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL), Chairman of the Senate Committee on Small Business and Entrepreneurship, will join David M. Solomon, Chairman & Chief Executive Officer of Goldman Sachs, for discussion of small business lending in Florida. At the digital press conference, Solomon is expected to announce $15 million in loans to Florida’s small businesses. These funds will enable a Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) to offer forgivable loans through the Small Business Administration’s Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) to small business owners and non-profits across Florida that have been unable to submit a PPP application through another lending institution.
