MEDIA ADVISORY: Rubio To Promote School Choice, Visit CENTCOM & SOCOM, & Address Pasco County Reagan Day Dinner
Washington, D.C. – Tomorrow, April 30, U.S. Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL) will visit Florida College Academy, a small private school in Hillsborough County. Rubio will tour classrooms, listen to the stories of parents whose children have benefited from school choice and discuss the Educational Opportunities Act he introduced earlier this year. The visit is intended to highlight the importance of giving parents the option to choose the schools that best fit the needs of their children, regardless of whether the school is public, private or a charter school. Rubio will then visit U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) and Special Operations Command (SOCOM) at MacDill Air Force Base in Tampa, FL. Rubio’s CENTCOM and SOCOM visits will be closed to the press. Tomorrow evening, Rubio will be addressing the Republican Party of Pasco County Reagan Day Dinner.
