González and Miami-Dade County Mayor Carlos Giménez, along with other local officials from the Miami-Dade Aviation Department, the Miami-Dade Fire Department, the Florida Department of Health, U.S. Customs and Border Protection, and the Centers for Disease Control Miami Quarantine Station.
