Washington, D.C. – Tomorrow, U.S. Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL) will join House Speaker John Boehner (R-OH), GOP leaders and representatives of several veterans’ service organizations in holding a press event at 11:30am EDT in the Rayburn Room of the U.S. Capitol. The group will discuss legislation sponsored by Senator Rubio in the Senate and Representative Jeff Miller (R-FL) in the House that would bring greater accountability to the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) for meeting the needs of America’s veterans, including its disability claims backlog.
