Senador Rubio exige una explicación a Kerry por reunión entre Shannon y Cabello
El senador federal por Florida Marco Rubio envió el miércoles una dura carta al Secretario de Estado John Kerry exigiéndole una explicación por la sorprendente reunión entre el enviado de la Casa Blanca, Thomas Shannon, y el presidente de la Asamblea Nacional de Venezuela, Diosdado Cabello, quien es investigado por la justicia estadounidense por sus vínculos con el narcotráfico.
En la misiva, el también candidato presidencial recordó que Cabello es el segundo dirigente más importante de un régimen represivo que persigue sin descanso a sus adversarios políticos.
“Estoy anonadado frente a los recientes informes de prensa describiendo la reunión entre el consejero del Departamento de Estado Thomas Shannon y el señor Cabello”, expresó Rubio en la misiva.
