Rubio proposes help for business startups, immigrants
In a rare show of bipartisanship, Sen. Marco Rubio teamed up with a couple of Democratic colleagues to propose a bill on Tuesday to help startup businesses and immigrant entrepreneurs create jobs.
The bill would cut taxes and ease regulations. Its most controversial provision would provide visas for high-skilled immigrants to remain in the U.S.
It builds on an earlier bill Rubio, a Florida Republican, introduced with Democratic Sen. Chris Coons of Delaware.
