We also applaud your fast action in approving the Public Assistance for all 67 counties in Florida and Individual Assistance for many. We continue to urge a prompt review and approval of forthcoming requests for Individual Assistance. Your approval is imperative in beginning recovery and assistance efforts for all Floridians impacted.
As state and local officials begin their work, the Federal Emergency Management Agency will play a major role with coordination between Floridians and the federal government. We stand ready to assist in any way possible to help our constituents rebuild. Your declaration has made that coordination possible.
We thank you in advance for your consideration of these requests, and look forward to working with you to help Floridians recover from this devastating storm.
