English/Español: Rubio Reintroduces CRACK Act
Last year, the Biden Administration used funds from a $30 million federal grant program for “safe smoking kits/supplies,” which included providing Americans with crack pipes. After, Senator Rubio secured a prohibition of taxpayer funds in the Fiscal Year 2023 Omnibus.
U.S. Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL) reintroduced the Cutting Rampant Access to Crack Kits (CRACK) Act to prohibit any federal funds from directly or indirectly purchasing, supplying, or distributing crack pipes or similar drug paraphernalia to smoke or inhale illicit narcotics.
-
“It is pure insanity to think the federal government should fund crack pipes. This legislation will make certain that taxpayer dollars can never pay for crack pipes, and given the Biden Administration’s previous position, I look forward to their vigorous support.” – Senator Rubio
Senators Rick Scott (R-FL), Roger Marshall (R-KS), Steve Daines (R-MT) and Mike Braun (R-IN) are original cosponsors.

– Senador Rubio
Rubio fue acompañado por los senadores Rick Scott (R-FL), Roger Marshall (R-KS), Steve Daines (R-MT) y Mike Braun (R-IN).
