Panama City, FL – U.S. Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL) released a statement calling on President Joe Biden to take action to halt continued ransomware attacks originating from Russia.
“President Biden must take action against Russian cybercriminals and state actors attacking American businesses, infrastructure, and government institutions,” Rubio said. “These ransomware attacks threaten the health and safety of countless Americans, and are almost certain to continue without strong, decisive action against Vladimir Putin and the Russian Government.”
Rubio is Vice Chairman of the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence and a member of the Senate Committee on Foreign Relations.

Panama City, FL – El senador estadounidense Marco Rubio (R-FL) emitió un comunicado instando al presidente Joe Biden que tome medidas para detener los continuos ataques de ransomware originados en Rusia.
“El presidente Biden debe tomar medidas contra los ciberdelincuentes y los actores estatales rusos que atacan a empresas estadounidenses, la infraestructura de nuestro país e instituciones gubernamentales de EE.UU.”, Rubio dijo. “Estos ataques de ransomware amenazan la seguridad de los americanos y es casi seguro que continuarán pasando sin una acción firme y decisiva contra Vladimir Putin y el gobierno ruso”.
Rubio es el vicepresidente del Comité de Inteligencia del Senado y Miembro del Comité de Relaciones Exteriores del Senado.
