Panama City, FL – U.S. Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL) released a statement calling on President Joe Biden to take action to halt continued ransomware attacks originating from Russia.
“President Biden must take action against Russian cybercriminals and state actors attacking American businesses, infrastructure, and government institutions,” Rubio said. “These ransomware attacks threaten the health and safety of countless Americans, and are almost certain to continue without strong, decisive action against Vladimir Putin and the Russian Government.”
Rubio is Vice Chairman of the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence and a member of the Senate Committee on Foreign Relations.
