“Confirming Dr. Kahl to serve as our nation’s Undersecretary of Defense for Policy would be a serious mistake,” Rubio said. “His hateful and unhinged rhetoric toward our fellow Americans is the exact opposite of what President Biden promised in order to unify the American people. Kahl’s role in multiple failed foreign policy objectives under the Obama Administration is especially concerning — from his complacency in dealing with the Iranian regime to his complete lack of foresight of the emergence of ISIS, and his naivety in working with China. Kahl has no business leading our nation’s defense policy and I will oppose his nomination.”

“El confirmar al Dr. Kahl para que se desempeñe como Subsecretario de Defensa para Políticas de nuestra nación sería un grave error”, Rubio dijo. “Su retórica odiosa y desquiciada hacia nuestros compatriotas es exactamente lo contrario a lo que prometió Biden para unificar al pueblo de EE.UU. El rol de Kahl en múltiples fallidos objetivos en temas de política exterior bajo la administración Obama es especialmente preocupante, desde su complacencia con el régimen iraní, hasta su total falta de previsión del surgimiento de ISIS y su ingenuidad con China.
