Miami, FL — U.S. Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL) released a statement celebrating the 60th anniversary of Florida’s Kennedy Space Center.
“America would not have won the space race or the Cold War without Kennedy Space Center,” Rubio said. “The men and women who have worked there during the past six decades are some of the most brilliant and patriotic our nation has to offer. They inspired generation after generation to reach for the stars, bringing us to a new era of space exploration and commercialization. I am confident the next 60 years will be even better for America and our great State of Florida will continue to lead as our nation’s gateway to the stars.”
