Miami, FL — U.S. Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL) released a statement after President Joe Biden acknowledged that Senator Joe Manchin (D-WV) is opposed to the Democrats’ spending plan because it would “further burden” Medicare and the program would “run out of its ability to maintain itself in X number of years.”
“President Biden is finally being honest that his plan to transform America will actually bankrupt Medicare,” Rubio said. “That would make it harder for older Americans, including more than 4.6 million Floridians, to access essential health care services they rely on. There is nothing free about socialism — everyone suffers.”
Miami, FL — El senador estadounidense Marco Rubio (R-FL) emitió el siguiente comunicado después que el presidente Joe Biden reconociera que el senador Joe Manchin (D-WV) se opone al plan de gastos de los demócratas porque sería una “sobrecarga” para el Medicare y que el programa se “quedaría sin capacidad para mantenerse en X número años”.
