U.S. Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL) made history when he was sworn into the United States Senate for the 118th Congress. He is now the first Republican senator from Florida to be sworn into a third term.

Rubio, who is regularly ranked one of the most effective senators, also released a blueprint for his third term in an op-ed for The American Conservative.

Last week, Rubio released a video recapping his 2022 legislative accomplishments on behalf of Floridians and the nation. He wrote 13 new laws last year, including a landmark law to provide health care to veterans suffering from exposure to toxic burn pits and a new law to address harmful algal blooms in South Florida.  
Looking forward … Rubio will soon release a report detailing his legislative accomplishments over the past six years.


El senador estadounidense Marco Rubio (R-FL) hizo historia al ser juramentado en el congreso 118avo. Rubio es el primer republicano del estado de Florida en juramentarse para un tercer periodo. 

La semana pasada, Rubio lanzó un vídeo en inglés resaltando sus logros legislativos del 2022 para los floridanos y nuestra nación. Rubio redactó 13 proyectos de ley el año pasado, incluyendo su histórica ley para darle beneficios médicos a los veteranos de guerra que tienen percances de salud tras haber sido expuestos a pozos petroleros.
