Miami, FL – Today, U.S. Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL) released the following statement marking the one year anniversary of the tragic pedestrian bridge collapse at Florida International University (FIU):
 
“Last year’s tragedy has left an everlasting mark on the FIU and South Florida community. As an FIU adjunct professor and resident of West Miami, FIU represents more than an academic institution—it’s home. My wife Jeannette and I unite in prayer for the six victims and the families of this terrible accident. My office and I will continue to closely monitor the ongoing investigation by the National Transportation Safety Board.”
 

CONMEMORANDO EL PRIMER ANIVERSARIO DEL COLAPSO DEL PUENTE PEATONAL DE LA FIU, RUBIO HONRA A LAS VÍCTIMAS
 

Miami, FL – Hoy, el senador estadounidense Marco Rubio (R-FL) emitió el siguiente comunicado de prensa conmemorando el primer aniversario del trágico colapso del puente peatonal en la Universidad Internacional de la Florida (FIU):
 
“La tragedia del año pasado ha dejado una marca imborrable en la FIU y en la comunidad del sur de la Florida. Como profesor de la FIU y residente de West Miami, FIU representa más que una institución académica—es mi hogar. Mi esposa Jeannette y yo nos unimos en oración pidiendo por las seis víctimas de este terrible accidente y por sus familiares. Mi oficina y yo continuaremos monitoreando de cerca la investigación en curso por parte de la Junta Nacional de Seguridad de Transporte”.
