Biden Administration Confirms Support for Artemis Program
Washington, D.C. — U.S. Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL) released a statement after the Biden Administration made clear it “certainly” supports the Artemis program. Yesterday, after the White House Press Secretary could not confirm whether the Administration supported the continuation of the Artemis program, Rubio called on President Biden to “give his unequivocal support for the Artemis program and America’s thriving commercial space program.”
“I am glad that the Biden Administration made clear it will continue to support the Artemis program, which enjoys broad bipartisan support in Congress and across the country,” Rubio said. “Artemis is the lynchpin of America’s space strategy and, along with our now thriving commercial space program, is a source of good jobs and long-term security for our nation. I look forward to working with the Administration and my colleagues in Congress to ensure the program remains on track and fully funded.”
